Hollywood Madness

As my wife follows the insanity of the Aniston-Pitt-Jolie triangle, is anyone else ever struck by how we would never want to be friends with these people if they lived in our neighborhood? I mean these would be the most dysfunctional people almost anyone would know if you were around them in real life. We definitely wouldn't have any respect for them. I guess they are ultimate good for what they would be in any community, a source of scandal and gossip. Of course, all these hollywood people who complain about how they don't have any private life should try living a normal, private life. You don't see Tom Hanks on the cover of the scandal sheets every week.

The Crusading Conservatives are on the rampage and they must have run out of targets among their enemies because now they are turning on people who should be their friends. What is that saying about absolute power . . .
Controversial Removal of Trustee

It's a good thing we know where the absolute power lies. The amazing thing about all of this is the remarkable lack of understanding of the situation it shows. I agree with Wade's arguements about the changes in IMB policies, but the people ousting him don't seem to understand the power of internet communication. Wade has had over 30,000 visits to his blog in a month. Those are big numbers that signal nerves have been struck by his stand. Judging by the comments, most of those seem to be in agreement with it. It seems that this little "club" is falling out of touch with the denomination they are supposed to represent. Now, they dump this news on Wade 5 months before the convention. That is a very long time to generate momentum for a response there.

As a worker on the field, I want to say that Wade's view is much more representative of all of the fellow workers I know than that which was put forth by the trustees. I haven't spoken with a single worker who has their view. Show your support for Wade, it's the right thing to do.
